Develop advanced natural language technologies for multilingual writing and communication products
Requirements
- PhD in computer science, natural language processing, computational linguistics, artificial intelligence, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Record of publications at top venues in artificial intelligence, natural language processing, and machine learning on par with that of a tenured professor at an R1 university, or equivalent evidence of transformative impact on relevant fields
- 8+ years of experience as a people manager of teams developing natural language processing technology
- Extensive experience leading the design, implementation, and optimization of solutions for natural language applications
- Expertise in one or more of the following languages: German, French, Dutch, Spanish, Portuguese (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Lead a cross-functional research organization that includes both AI and linguistics teams to build state-of-the-art solutions in language technologies
- Promote interdisciplinary excellence by integrating linguistic expertise into AI model development, ensuring that solutions are not only technically strong but linguistically informed
- Devise and deliver novel solutions that improve users’ lives, drive the business forward, and transform the broader landscape of multilingual language products
- Create and maintain a culture of uncompromising pursuit of quality in AI solutions
- Shape multilingual language products through impactful decision making about the design and construction of natural language technologies
