Fisher & Paykel is seeking an experienced VP of Product to shape and lead their product strategy for the US market, driving growth across retail, builder, and e-commerce channels, and ensuring portfolio and pricing strategies deliver market share and profitability.

Requirements

  • Proven success influencing, planning, and presenting to drive sustainable growth.
  • Global leadership experience transforming and growing a Product Line, from strategy creation to execution, delivering market share and profitability gains.
  • Commercial and financial acumen, with hands-on experience in budgeting and fiscal management in a global consumer business.
  • Senior leadership background working across sales, marketing, finance, supply chain, and customer service.
  • Minimum of 10 years of product management experience and 5 years of leadership experience– preferably in luxury premium appliances
  • Experience in consumer products, appliances, or durable goods (preferred)
  • Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to balance big-picture strategy and key details.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of US product strategy, including new product introductions, portfolio optimization, and pricing.
  • Translate global imperatives into local plans, ensuring short- and long-term objectives are achieved.
  • Track and report on performance using high-performance processes and tools, ensuring disciplined delivery to plan.
  • Maintain deep knowledge of product lines, pricing, and market dynamics, with the ability to anticipate shifts that impact sell-through.
  • Oversee product launches to ensure successful placement, positioning, and sales results.
  • Drive portfolio optimization by strengthening high-performing products and rationalizing low-performing ones.
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations governing product and business activity.

  • Bachelor’s degree; MBA or advanced degree highly desirable
  • Minimum of 10 years of product management experience and 5 years of leadership experience
