Under Armour is looking to solve the problem of unlocking what's next for the brand by combining consumer-obsessed, athlete-led insight with sharp business acumen and cross-functional leadership in the area of Men’s and Women’s Training Apparel & Footwear.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated knowledge of materials science, prototype validation, and performance testing.
  • Expertise balancing innovation with commercial success.
  • Experience influencing across a matrixed, global organization.
  • P&L ownership and budget management experience.
  • Ability to use digital tools such as 3D prototyping and predictive analytics.
  • Experience with circular design, responsible sourcing, and environmental impact reduction.
  • Knowledge of digital line planning and GTM planning.

Responsibilities

  • Define long-range product roadmaps, franchise strategies, and innovation platforms for Train Apparel & Footwear (men’s + women’s).
  • Own the product creation process from concept to consumer, including athlete testing, prototype validation, performance durability, and GTM alignment.
  • Drive margin optimization, SKU productivity, and lifecycle planning while creating globally scalable but regionally relevant assortments.
  • Stay externally oriented through competitor and trend analysis, athlete engagement, and consumer immersion.
  • Ensure that product drives brand narrative from concept through campaign, embedding athlete and consumer insights into briefs, line architecture, GTM planning, and launch execution.
  • Partner across Merchandising, Design, Development, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Regions to deliver aligned seasonal line plans and GTM strategies.
  • Build long-term capability by embedding sustainability (circular design, responsible sourcing, environmental impact reduction) and advancing digital integration (3D prototyping, predictive analytics, digital line planning).

Other

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred.
  • 15+ years of product leadership experience in apparel/footwear, including performance categories.
  • 10+ years of senior management experience, leading teams of managers and senior leaders.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally (~15-20%).
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills with a proven track record of developing diverse, high-performing teams.
