Bank of America is looking to improve its banking technology applications and client user experience through the development and maintenance of scalable backend systems and production-ready software.
Requirements
- 4 years of experience in utilizing Front-end design patterns and principals, including MVC, BEM/OOCSS, Singletons, Prototypes, and Mixins
- 4 years of experience in utilizing AJAX, XHR, Event Delegation, Publish/Subscribe, and server side-client side coding
- 4 years of experience in utilizing Semantic HTML and CSS3 (SASS), including layouts, responsive web design, and accessibility (WCAG)
- 4 years of experience in creating, editing, and managing Oracle database schemas, writing SQL queries and stored procedures
- 4 years of experience in utilizing Java, C, C-Sharp, Javascript, CSS, HTML, and Code management and versioning control with GIT, Bitbucket, JIRA, Jenkins, and Tower Ansible UNIX commands
- 4 years of experience in redesigning and enhancing client user experience web pages having .NET implementations to Sparta and core Java technologies
- 4 years of experience in utilizing Microsoft Visio software to create threat modeling diagrams for security and risk assessment of banking applications
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain banking technology applications
- Design and develop solution architectures to scale backend systems using .NET, Java, Spring Boot, and REST specifications
- Design and develop production ready software using web, cloud, and distributed technologies, including Microservices, CI/CD, and cloud deployment
- Create, edit, and manage Oracle database schemas, writing SQL queries and stored procedures
- Redesign and enhance client user experience web pages having .NET implementations to Sparta and core Java technologies
- Implement and customize Vue.js and Sparta UI components per project requirements
- Utilize Microsoft Visio software to create threat modeling diagrams for security and risk assessment of banking applications
Other
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or related
- 4 years of experience in the job offered or a related IT occupation working in the financial services industry
- Remote work may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite
- 40 hours per week, 1st shift (United States of America)
