6sense is seeking a VP of Software Engineering to lead their engineering function and drive customer value and platform health.
Requirements
- Deep expertise in distributed systems, high-throughput platforms, and large-scale data processing
- Familiarity with Marketing Tech, AdTech, Email, or related domains preferred
- Experience with scalable engineering processes for planning, delivery, and incident management
- Knowledge of architecture, performance, reliability, and code quality
- Experience with modernization initiatives for systems and platforms
- Familiarity with data-driven decision-making
- Experience with building inclusive teams and strong engineering cultures
Responsibilities
- Define and execute the engineering vision to align with business strategy and customer needs
- Drive engineering excellence across architecture, performance, reliability, and code quality
- Translate Product Requirements to define technical specifications that align with roadmap priorities
- Make critical architecture decisions that support scalability, reliability, and customer-facing performance
- Drive modernization initiatives for systems and platforms, ensuring tech debt is addressed proactively
- Build and refine scalable engineering processes for planning, delivery, and incident management
- Establish clear goals, KPIs, and reporting mechanisms to track performance and execution
Other
- 15+ years of engineering experience, with 5+ years in senior leadership (VP+) roles
- Proven success in scaling engineering organizations in fast-paced environments
- Ability to set technical vision and influence business and product teams with strong collaboration skills
- Exceptional communication skills and executive presence
- Track record of building inclusive teams and strong engineering cultures
- Base Salary Range: $270,135.00 - $396,198.00
