TD is looking to solve the problem of integrating vendor and proprietary solutions to support scalable, secure, and reusable solutions across the Compliance, Surveillance, and Supervision area by designing, developing, and maintaining application development frameworks.

Requirements

  • Strong hands-on experience in back-end development technologies and frameworks, including: Java and strong understanding of OOP
  • RESTful services (Spring boot)
  • SQL and NoSQL databases
  • Event-based architecture
  • Azure Infrastructure
  • React
  • Experience in development of technology architectures.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the creation and enhancement of development frameworks, starting with foundational building blocks, utilities, and wrappers.
  • Expand to development and maintenance of critical services which support all deployments across the stream.
  • Review detailed solution designs to ensure it meets requirements and complies with the architectural and security standards with TDS.
  • Champion the creation of product-based CI/CD pipelines for the creation of common release artifacts.
  • Contribute to the development of project plans by providing input and manage projects / initiatives by directing assigned resources, communicating project status, and providing timely escalation of issues.
  • Provide expert consultation and participate as a technical subject matter expert on projects of moderate to high risk and complexity.
  • Build consensus and facilitate collaboration and decision-making within/across technical and functional stakeholders to ensure consistent application of IT strategy and compliance with architecture framework.

Other

  • Minimum bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
  • 8+ years related experience required.
  • Knowledge of financial industry trade surveillance, market abuse monitoring and/or global markets domain experience, including trading lifecycles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, including the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
