Skyworks is looking for a key leader in the Technology and Manufacturing Group to support the wafer fabrication quality strategy for Skyworks. The role involves partnering with global organizations and leading initiatives with significant impact on Skyworks’ business.
Requirements
- Minimum 8 years of experience in semiconductor wafer manufacturing with at least 3 in Quality Management or equivalent.
- Knowledge of ISO9001 required.
- Experience with automotive quality standards and automotive core tools is highly preferred!
- Proficient in operating Microsoft Office applications and analytical software such as JMP.
Responsibilities
- Quality Engineering Team Management, Incoming Raw Material Supplier Quality, Supplier Monitoring and Development, Supplier Audits, and Supplier Corrective Actions.
- Key contributor to Process FMEA improvements, Process Capability monitoring and improvement, Measurement Systems Analysis, Control of Nonconforming Material, Internal Corrective Actions, Continuous Improvement, Process Validation and Change Controls.
- Participation in and oversight for NTI and NPI activities, Customer Special Care, and Clean Launch.
- Manage, mentor, and develop the Fab quality engineering team.
- Collaborate with Sourcing, Engineering, and Business Unit teams to ensure Skyworks has a viable quality strategy for wafer fabrication.
- Partner with Legal, Sourcing, and Engineering teams to secure quality-aligned contract terms with our key vendors and to ensure adherence to those terms.
- Perform supplier audits, support customer audit activities, and develop close partnerships with internal customers

- A problem solver with expertise in 8D and root cause analysis tools.
- An expert in system, process, and product internal auditing.
- A successful leader in managing cross cultural business relationships, particularly with partners in the US, APAC and Mexico.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, or related field. Graduate degrees are a plus.
- Excellent analytical, organization, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
