Northrop Grumman Space Systems (NGSP) is seeking an innovative Principal Software Engineer (T03) or Senior Principal Software Engineer (T04) who excels in building robust, scalable applications to become part of the Waimea Ground Segment team.
Requirements
- Experience with JAVA and C++
- Experience in software object-oriented design
- Experience in software unit testing
- Experience in Kubernetes, Docker, and Containerization
- Experience with software development on Red Hat Enterprise Linux
- Experience with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket)
- Experience with Digital Signal Data Processing
Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and deploy high-quality software applications using Java and C++.
- Design and implement efficient, reusable, and scalable code following object-oriented principles.
- Participate in the software development lifecycle including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, and maintenance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design innovative solutions and solve complex technical challenges.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior developers.
- Engage in performance optimization, debugging, and troubleshooting to enhance application stability.
