Siemens is looking to solve issues related to the quality and reliability of switchboard products during the warranty period by hiring a Switchboard Warranty Engineer.
Requirements
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques, such as statistical analysis software, Excel, and database management systems.
- Understanding of electromechanical systems & strong technical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
- Manage the process of warranty claims submitted by customers, including documentation, tracking, and resolution in accordance with company policies and procedures, to identify trends, patterns, and common issues.
- Provide technical assistance to customers and field technicians regarding switchboard installations, troubleshooting, and maintenance during the warranty period.
- Work with alongside Quality to investigate reported issues with switchboard installations to identify root causes, analyze technical data, and propose effective solutions to resolve problems promptly.
- Collaborate with field technicians to schedule site visits, inspect switchboard installations, and conduct on-site assessments to assess warranty claims and determine appropriate actions.
- Communicate effectively with customers to understand their concerns, provide updates on warranty claim status, and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction throughout the resolution process.
- Maintain accurate records of warranty claims, technical support interactions, and resolution activities.
- Prepare detailed reports and analysis to track warranty performance metrics and identify trends for continuous improvement.
Other
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- Previous experience in Manufacturing, Quality or similar role within the electromechanical industry.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.
- The pay range for this position is $60,340.00 - $126,000.00 annually.
