At Apple, the WatchOS QA team is seeking a QA Engineer to help ensure that the Watch experience is rock-solid and customer-focused.
Requirements
- proven experience in Software Quality Assurance creating test plans for new products and features
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent recent on-the-job experience in Software QA
- passionate about Quality Assurance, Watch Faces, and Complications
- enthusiasm for customer-focused design, and high-quality technology
- creative thinker and strong problem solver with meticulous attention to detail
- passion for debugging difficult problems and driving results with multi-functional teams
Responsibilities
- functional testing of iOS and watchOS applications, with a focus on watch faces and complications, sometimes across concurrent release vectors
- design and implementation of test plans and test cases
- risk analysis
- cross-functional testing coordination
- integration testing across the system
- reviewing requirements
- developing test plans and cases
Other
- excellent communication skills are a requirement due to the high level of interaction with engineering teams, management, and other organizations within Apple
