At Apple, the WatchOS QA team is seeking a QA Engineer to help ensure that the Watch experience is rock-solid and customer-focused.
Requirements
- proven experience in Software Quality Assurance creating test plans for new products and features
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent recent on-the-job experience in Software QA
- knowledge of functional testing, regression testing, and performance testing
- experience with test planning and test case development
- familiarity with watchOS and iOS applications
- experience with debugging difficult problems
- experience with quality metrics and monitoring
Responsibilities
- functional testing of iOS and watchOS applications, with a focus on watch faces and complications, sometimes across concurrent release vectors
- design and implementation of test plans and test cases
- risk analysis
- cross-functional testing coordination
- integration testing across the system
- reviewing requirements
- developing test plans and cases
