Samsung Austin Semiconductor is looking for an Engineering Manager to oversee all Engineering aspects of the WTR Treatment on site, ensuring operations, maintenance, and projects meet site needs and driving continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Has deep knowledge on one job area or broad knowledge on several job areas (as related to Ultrapure Water and Waste Water).
- Ability to enhance or Improve methods or procedures and provide coaching to team members to ensure successful outcome.
Responsibilities
- Capital and capacity project oversight, including participating in the design and selection of equipment and options for large scale industrial electrical distribution.
- Drive improvements in equipment and part management, employing lean principles effectively.
- Support operations teams responsible for monitoring the site and responding to FMCS alarms.
- Support maintenance teams responsible for equipment planned and unplanned maintenance.
- Ensure compliance to local, state, and national codes and compliance requirements.
- Lead the development of safety and quality projects to improve performance and reliability of electrical equipment.
- Drive increasing knowledge and competencies of employees to support safety innovation.
Other
- Leadership and participation in safety initiatives, programs, and activities to drive world class safety performance.
- Serve as an ideal representative of the department and site to external groups and agencies.
- Develop and manage annual expense budgets.
- Support commercial negotiations and establishment of terms related to services and projects.
- Continually drive group culture toward greater learning, development, and overall job satisfaction.
