The CNN Documentary Unit is looking for interns to assist in the production of award-winning documentary series, requiring support in various aspects of long-form media production to enhance their storytelling capabilities.

- Candidates should be self-motivated and able to multitask
- Be able to function well in fast paced, high volume environment
Responsibilities
- Interns have the opportunity to participate in every aspect of long-form media production: From pitching story ideas to researching and developing a show, from setting up shoots to gathering editorial and video materials, from the script writing process through edit and post production.
- Shadow and assist editorial staff on a daily basis.
- Basic duties include research, gathering media including archival footage, transcription and logging, organizing visual elements, and fact-checking.
Other
- Must be actively enrolled in an accredited college or university degree program for the full duration of the internship (proof of enrollment required)
- Must be a rising Senior undergraduate, or Master's student, graduating in Spring 2026 (18 years or older)
- Must be in academic good standing (3.0 or above cumulative GPA)
- Candidates will be expected to commit to the entire 6-month duration.
- Warner Bros. Discovery will only consider candidates who are presently authorized to work for any employer in the United States and who will not require work visa sponsorship from Warner Bros. Discovery now or in the future in order to retain their authorization to work in the United States. Candidates currently on any student or exchange visa, including F-1 CPT, F-1 OPT, J-1, M-1, etc., will not be eligible for the internship program.
