Warner Bros. Games Boston is looking for Software Engineer Co-ops to join their game engineering teams to maintain and implement key game systems and features for an upcoming unannounced mobile strategy title.
Requirements
- Comfort with basic software development including coding, knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and complexity analysis
- Experience programming in C-Sharp or another object-oriented language
- Experience with Git or other revision control systems
- Familiarity with the Game of Thrones television series and/or series of books
- Experience developing for iOS/Android
- Experience with third party game engines (Unity is preferred)
Responsibilities
- As part of our game engineering team, you will work to improve the player experience, build out new features, investigate tricky technical issues and bugs, and collaborate with designers and artists to help deliver an ambitious new title.
- Develop and refine gameplay systems to support our mobile game client (Android/iOS).
- This may include bug fixing, optimization, UI improvements and building new systems, and may be on your own with team assistance or as part of a bigger team effort.
- Own your work when given prioritized goals and objectives.
- Work closely with other team members and take technical and professional feedback.

- The ability to work in a collaborative environment and effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical team members
- Curiosity, an open mind, and a willingness to learn and take feedback
- Must be actively enrolled in an accredited college or university degree program in Computer Science or related field for the full duration of the internship (proof of enrollment required)
- Must be a rising Junior, Senior or Graduate student (18 years or older)
- Must be in academic good standing (3.0 or above GPA) A transcript will be required to verify your GPA if an offer is extended.
