Verisign is looking to solve the business and technical problem of enabling the security, stability, and resiliency of the internet by providing unmatched performance in domain name system (DNS) services. The Corporate Web Development Team specifically needs to build out CMS capability to enable stakeholders to update site content more autonomously, while ensuring high quality output that remains compatible across browsers and devices, and automating testing and deployment.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as full stack developer with proficiency in Python or Rust
- Hands on development and deployment experience with CDN (Cloudfront), WAF, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, ACM, Route 53 and other AWS cloud services is required
- A keen eye for improving developer workflows. Knowledge of CI (Jenkins), automation (Ansible), general tooling (Docker, Webpack, Vite), and coding standards (eslint, prettier)
- Able to automate infrastructure changes; CI (Jenkins), IaC (Terraform), Configuration Management (Ansible)
- Demonstrated ability to mitigate risks, ensure compliance, and deliver secure, stable platforms
- Fluent in modern JavaScript and Typescript. Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks is a plus
- Good knowledge of modern CSS and familiar with utility first CSS frameworks and practices (Tailwind, UnoCSS)
Responsibilities
- Involved in all aspects of product development including ideation, design, implementation, deployment, and issue resolution.
- Hands on development and deployment experience with CDN (Cloudfront), WAF, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, ACM, Route 53 and other AWS cloud services is required
- Able to automate infrastructure changes; CI (Jenkins), IaC (Terraform), Configuration Management (Ansible)
- Demonstrated ability to mitigate risks, ensure compliance, and deliver secure, stable platforms
- Experience with front-end testing frameworks (e.g. Mocha, Testing Library, BrowserStack, StoryBook)
- Demonstration of understanding of Secure Coding standards
- Experience with Content Management Systems, Linux is a plus
