Net2Source Inc. is looking for a Web Application Developer to join their client's Point of Sale (PoS) solutions team. The client is modernizing its technology stack, focusing on an API-first, community source, and common component model, while onboarding, hosting, and operating customer solutions on the cloud and edge.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software development experience
- 4+ year experience with ReactJS
- Web development skills using HTML, CSS, TypeScript
- Understanding RESTful APIs and Websockets
- Experience using DTOs
- Understanding of BDD and experience writing automated unit, integration, and end to end tests
- Familiarity with distributed version control systems (eg. git)
Responsibilities
- Play a key role as a software engineer on scrum teams focused on client's Point of Sale application and services on the cloud or edge, that serve customers in Retail.
- Building and enhancing Point of Sale app utilizing APIs
- Crafting clean, easy to maintain, well-tested code using rigorous continuous delivery methodologies, including automated functional and non-functional testing
- Contributing to software design and documentation
- Being an active member on an agile team working on a highly visible project
