QTEC Aerospace is seeking a WEB BASED SOFTWARE ENGINEER to join their team to support a Missile Defense System (MDS) with a mission of protecting the United States and our allies.
Requirements
- Knowledge of web-based software development and user interface design
- Experience with a framework for building web applications, such as Angular or React
- Ability to work with Java, HTTP, JavaScript/JSON, CesiumJS open-source JavaScript library, and WildFly/JBossAS application server
- Experience with configuration management, software, and web development
- Experience with platforms and tools such as: PHP, Apache and IIS web servers, MySQL, Oracle, JavaScript, RHEL Linux, Eclipse and/or Java Beans, Sphinx, ClearQuest, and Memcached
- Experience with Relational, Graph, or Document databases
- Experience with TypeScript, Docker, Elastic, Bootstrap, and Jira
Responsibilities
- Supporting existing applications and developing user interfaces and tools for internal use
- Responsible for understanding documented requirements, implementing solutions, and performing unit testing of the tools and code
Other
- The successful candidate will be detail oriented, have a proven track record and a positive work ethic.
- Bachelors degree with at least 9 years of experience or 6 years of professional experience in lieu of a degree
- IAT Level II Certification (Security+ or equivalent)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, and prepare and brief presentations to the customer as needed
- Self-starter with ability to work both independently and in a team environment
