ALTA IT Services is seeking a Web Developer to develop, test, and maintain web-based applications primarily utilizing Oracle Application Express (APEX) for mission-critical projects impacting national security and public safety.
Requirements
- Proven experience in web development, particularly using Oracle Application Express (APEX).
- Strong proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL programming.
- Experience with web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related frameworks.
- Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
Responsibilities
- Develop, administer, and test web-based applications utilizing Oracle Application Express (APEX).
- Write, test, and optimize complex SQL and PL/SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions to support application functionality.
- Collaborate with project managers, analysts, and other developers to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Ensure the security, scalability, and performance of web applications in accordance with best practices.
- Provide ongoing maintenance, troubleshooting, and enhancement of existing web applications.
- Document development processes, application configurations, and system procedures.
- Participate in code reviews, team meetings, and technical discussions to foster continuous improvement.

- Active TS/SCI clearance is mandatory for this role.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with stakeholders and team members.
