Enhance and maintain the codebase for OSU System web templates, websites, and applications, ensuring digital accessibility, security, performance, and maintainability.
Requirements
- HTML, CSS, Javascript, server-side languages such as PHP
- Content management system (CMS) fundamentals
- Ability to work with multiple frameworks and languages
- Familiarity with digital accessibility concepts and standards such as 508/WCAG 2.1
- Experience with content management systems
- Experience troubleshooting and resolving cross-browser behaviors and quirks
- Experience contributing and managing code in a version control system, such as git
Responsibilities
- Enhance and maintain the codebase for OSU System web templates, websites, and applications
- Implement changes and develop additional front-end components, functionality, and integrations
- Provide technical support and guidance to campus contacts for web projects
- Assist with CMS management including configuration, maintenance, migrations, and development/enhancement of tools and functionality
Other
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or related field
- Two years of related work experience
- Ability to work cross-functionally with supervisors, unit staff and campus partners
- Ability to learn quickly and demonstrate flexibility in the work environment
- Must be able to work in the United States without sponsorship
