Pathfinders is looking for a Web Developer to translate business goals into reliable, scalable, and beautiful web experiences, owning the build and maintenance of websites and digital tools, integrating systems and APIs, and ensuring everything delivered is tested, accessible, and optimized.
Requirements
- Strong expertise in front-end languages (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and cross-browser compatibility
- Proven proficiency in WordPress development and site management
- Knowledge of server-side frameworks (PHP, ASP.NET, etc.) and database systems (SQL, Oracle)
- Familiarity with analytics tools (Google Analytics, Tag Manager, HotJar)
- Ability to translate technical concepts into clear communication for teams and clients
- Stay up to date on emerging web tools, trends, and compliance standards (ADA, WCAG 2.1, Section 508)
Responsibilities
- Build responsive, accessible websites, landing pages, and digital products that follow UI/UX best practices
- Write clean, efficient, testable code using current HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and server-side languages
- Translate design files and functional specs into user-facing features and technical solutions
- Monitor and maintain existing websites for performance, uptime, and security
- Apply updates to CMS, plugins, frameworks, and libraries
- Troubleshoot and resolve bugs or user-reported issues in a timely manner
- Manage WordPress and other CMS builds, customizations, and integrations

- Eligible candidates must reside in one of the following states: IN, MI, IL, OH, KY, TN, MN, MA, FL, GA, PA
- Occasional travel is required once per year for our annual summit in Mishawaka, IN, or to client engagements. This position requires up to 30% travel, which may be outside the local area and overnight.
