Provide continuous development, enhancement, and engineering support to DHS/CBP Air and Marine Operating Surveillance System (AMOSS)
Requirements
- Web development using tools such as – but not limited to – JavaScript, PHP, Ruby on Rails, and HTML5
- Interfacing with Oracle 19 databases
- Software development experience to include object-oriented design and analysis
- Strong understanding of user interfaces, cross-browser compatibility, and general web technology and standards
- Strong understanding of security principles and how they apply to web-based applications
- Experience in C++ in a Linux environment preferred
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain web interfaces for radar analysis and surveillance
- Perform system design, execute test plans, develop installation plans, provide production support, and update documentation
- Work within a small, specialized technical team to deliver full life-cycle system development support in a rapid environment
- Continued development, enhancement, and maintenance of web interfaces to radar analysis and air surveillance systems
- Interface with systems from other Government agencies for data ingestion
- Develop and execute software test plans
- Perform requirements analysis and system design

- Must be a US Citizen
- Must possess a DoD or DHS Secret Security clearance
- Must be able to successfully pass and maintain a CBP Background Investigation
- Some travel may be required
- Good communications skills, both oral and written
