Airtable is looking to hire a web developer to lead the development and maintenance of their marketing web application, ensuring high-quality, performant, and visually stunning experiences that align with their brand and business goals. This role will drive impactful projects like a solutions page refresh, SEO improvements, and a brand refresh.
Requirements
- Deep experience with React, Typescript, and Next.js
- Proficient in working with CMS platforms, especially Contentful, and building flexible, reusable components
- Demonstrated expertise in web performance optimization and solving complex performance issues
- Experience with SEO best practices and tooling
- Skilled in web hosting platforms such as Netlify, Heroku or similar
- Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for design, ensuring pixel-perfect implementation
Responsibilities
- Oversee the development and maintenance of the Airtable marketing web application
- Lead and mentor the web development team, setting technical standards and best practices
- Drive key initiatives such as the solutions page refresh, SEO link strategy improvements, and brand refresh support
- Migrate the website to a new infrastructure system and optimize for performance and scalability
- Ensure web pages are built to spec and match design vision with meticulous attention to detail
- Implement and maintain a flexible, robust CMS for long-term team success
- Utilize SEO tooling and strategies to improve site visibility and performance

- 5+ years of experience as a web developer, with a strong portfolio of high-quality web projects
- Proven ability to mentor and guide other developers, fostering a culture of technical excellence
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a track record of working effectively with cross-functional teams
- Base salary range for this role is:$160,000—$226,600 USD
