Credence is seeking a skilled Web Developer to join our team supporting the Air Force Institute of Technology Civilian Institution Programs (AFIT/CIP) at Wright Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining web-based applications and services tailored to meet the needs of the AFIT/CIP organization.
Requirements
- Minimum of five (5) years of professional experience in web development and coding.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and familiarity with modern web development frameworks.
- Experience working with content management systems (CMS) and understanding of website design principles.
- Knowledge of website security protocols and performance optimization techniques.
- Experience in conducting code audits and ensuring adherence to industry standards and best practices.
Responsibilities
- Support the AFIT/CI website development team in designing and implementing web-based applications and services.
- Collaborate with project teams to understand requirements, develop code, and test applications thoroughly.
- Participate in code audits to ensure security, efficiency, and compliance with industry standards.
- Assist in the development, modification, and management of content management systems to enhance website functionality and user experience.
- Contribute to all phases of website development, from planning through deployment and maintenance.
- Provide technical support to the IT staff for various web development tools and platforms.
- Assist with website analytics, reporting, and performance tuning to ensure optimal operation.
