Credence is seeking a skilled Web Developer to join their team in support of the Air Force Institute of Technology Civilian Institution Programs (AFIT/CIP) at Wright Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio. This pivotal role involves designing, developing, and maintaining web-based applications and services tailored to meet the unique needs of the organization. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to translate project requirements into functional, secure, and user-friendly web solutions. Requirements
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and relevant frameworks is essential.
- Experience working with content management systems (CMS), such as WordPress, Joomla, or Drupal, is required, along with a solid understanding of website design principles and best practices.
- A strong understanding of web security protocols, performance optimization, and website analytics is also necessary.
- Relevant certifications or additional expertise in web development tools and platforms will be considered advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Designing and implementing web-based applications and services aligned with organizational needs.
- Collaborating with project teams to understand requirements, develop code, and test applications to ensure functionality and performance.
- Conducting code audits to verify security, efficiency, and adherence to industry standards, implementing necessary updates or patches.
- Assisting in the development and customization of content management systems (CMS), proposing modifications or new features to enhance user experience and website capabilities.
- Providing comprehensive support during all phases of website development, from planning and design to deployment and maintenance.
- Maintaining detailed documentation of project progress, code revisions, and technical procedures.
- Reviewing website code for errors, inconsistencies, and security vulnerabilities.
