Topcon Healthcare is seeking a Web Developer to contribute to the development and evolution of the Institute for Digital Health (IDHea) web portal, which aims to accelerate research and innovation by democratizing access to unique real-world and clinical trial data for AI research and innovation in healthcare.
Requirements
- Proven experience with Angular, Node.js, and TypeScript
- Strong understanding of front-end and back-end integration
- Familiarity with Azure cloud services and deployment fundamentals
- Proficiency in working with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL)
- Experience with Docker and containerized development
- Exposure to CMS platforms such as Strapi, Contentful, or WordPress
- Experience with UX and UI designs for web portals.
Responsibilities
- Develop responsive and dynamic user interfaces using Angular and TypeScript
- Build scalable back-end services using Node.js and TypeScript
- Integrate RESTful APIs and ensure seamless data flow between front-end and back-end systems
- Design and extend content models to support evolving portal features
- Implement and maintain structured data using relational databases
- Apply best practices in code quality, performance optimization, and security
- Utilize Azure services for deployment and cloud-based application management

- Minimum of 5+ years experience as a web developer
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
