Requirements

  • Angular Expertise: professional experience in designing, developing, and maintaining complex applications using Angular or React (5 Years)
  • API Development: in building and consuming RESTful APIs (or equivalent experience in a language like Java/Spring Boot (5 Years)
  • Database Proficiency: with SQL development, including writing complex queries and performing basic query optimization (5 Years)
  • Full Dev Lifecycle: Strong understanding of the complete software dev lifecycle (SDLC) and modern dev methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum) (5 Years)
  • Version Control: Proficiency with Git and modern version control workflows (e.g., branching, merging, pull requests) (5 Years)
  • Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and debug application issues across the stack (5 Years)
  • Must Have Skills/Attributes: Agile, Designing, Java, RESTful, SDLC

Responsibilities

  • The scope of work is to support client web application portfolio, which includes modern and older legacy systems, with a primary focus on modifying, enhancing, and maintaining these existing applications while managing a crucial transition to or integration with a new system
  • Key responsibilities involve implementing feature requests, bug fixes, and performance improvements across all systems
  • The developer will leverage Angular for front-end modifications and REST API (Java equivalent) expertise for back-end service integration
  • A significant portion of the work is dedicated to analyzing and safely modifying existing legacy codebases
  • This includes designing and developing services to seamlessly integrate the existing and legacy applications with the new target system
  • The role requires developing robust unit tests and collaborating closely with BSAs and QA teams to ensure all application changes and the new integration adhere to technical specifications and business needs, delivering stable, secure, high-quality updates across the entire application landscape
  • Design, develop, and deploy web applications
