Alliance Defending Freedom is looking for a Junior Web Developer to assist in building, customizing, and maintaining their websites and web-based applications, supporting the Senior Web Developer and growing their technical skills.
Requirements
- Experience with version control systems like Git.
- Understanding of WordPress site structure and basic plugin/theme development.
- Familiarity with HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
- Understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
- Some exposure to PHP and MySQL.
Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and maintaining WordPress websites, themes, and plugins.
- Support the Senior Web Developer in building custom layouts and template modifications.
- Implement basic front-end enhancements using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Help integrate third-party APIs and services into websites under supervision.
- Participate in website testing, QA, and debugging tasks.
- Maintain content updates and perform routine site maintenance.
- Document development tasks, code changes, and processes.
