UF Information Technology (UFIT) is seeking an entry-level Web Developer to join Academic Technology-Web Services to build and apply industry standards to design visually appealing web sites using HTML and CSS and apply web coding standards.

Requirements

• Knowledge of web accessibility standards and WCAG 2.1 desired

Responsibilities

• Supporting customers in a web content management system such as TERMINALFOUR or WordPress Multisite
• Collaborating with peers to develop and implementing user driven web accessible templates and interfaces for ease of use.
• Front end web development and hands on the development of web applications utilizing languages such as JavaScript, CSS, HTML, HTML5, Python or PHP

Other

• A bachelor's degree in an appropriate area of specialization or an associate degree and two years of experience
• Appropriate college coursework or vocational/technical training may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience , but does not negate the minimum degree requirement(s).
• Strong customer service skills and self-motivation a must
• Work visa sponsorship is not available for this position
• A Level 1 Criminal Background Screening is required.
