UF Information Technology (UFIT) is seeking an entry-level Web Developer to join Academic Technology-Web Services to contribute to the success of their team by building and applying industry standards to design visually appealing and accessible web sites.

- Knowledge of web accessibility standards and WCAG 2.1 desired
Responsibilities
- Supporting customers in a web content management system such as TERMINALFOUR or WordPress Multisite
- Collaborating with peers to develop and implementing user driven web accessible templates and interfaces for ease of use.
- Front end web development and hands on the development of web applications utilizing languages such as JavaScript, CSS, HTML, HTML5, Python or PHP
Other
- A bachelor's degree in an appropriate area of specialization or an associate degree and two years of experience
- Appropriate college coursework or vocational/technical training may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience, but does not negate the minimum degree requirement(s).
- Strong customer service skills and self-motivation a must
- Work visa sponsorship is not available for this position
- A Level 1 Criminal Background Screening is required.
