GEI is looking to solve complex challenges for their clients, including climate change, sustainable development, critical infrastructure, and energy supply, by developing and designing database-driven web applications, GIS-based web applications, and components.
Requirements
- Practical experience in HTML, JavaScript, CSS, and AJAX for web development
- Proficient in some of the following: Java, JSP, ASP.NET, XML, and JSON
- Knowledge of database including Oracle, Access, or SQL server
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deliver web sites, applications, and components
- Create web applications and components from requirements analysis through design, coding, and testing to production
- Develop and design database-driven web applications
- Develop and design GIS-based web applications and GIS mapping applications
- Provide high-quality deliverables on time
Other
- Major in computer-related field (computer science/engineering)
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and organized
- Able to work in person at the Sacramento office location
- Adaptability and ability to learn quickly in various technical and creative environments
- Ability to deliver quality work under tight deadlines
