GEI needs a Web Developer to design, develop, test, and deliver web sites, applications, and components for clients, including database-driven and GIS-based applications.
Requirements
- Practical experience in HTML, JavaScript, CSS and AJAX for web development
- Proficient in some of the following: Java, JSP, ASP.NET, XML, and JSON
- Knowledge of database including Oracle, Access, or SQL server
Responsibilities
- The Web Developer is responsible for the development and design of database driven web applications, GIS based web applications, GIS mapping applications, and components for clients.
- The developer will design, develop, test, and deliver web sites, applications, and components.
- The developer will create web applications and components from the requirements analysis, through design, coding, and testing, to production.

- Adaptability and ability to learn quickly in various technical and creative environments while delivering quality work under tight deadlines are key attributes of the job.
- Experience in providing high quality deliverables on time
- Self motivated, detail-oriented, and organized
- Able to work in person at the Sacramento office location. (in compliance with CA state COVID restrictions)
- Major in computer-related field (computer science/engineering)
