Pathfinders is looking to hire a Web Developer to build and maintain high-quality websites and digital tools that align with their clients' business objectives, translating visual concepts and functional specifications into seamless, accessible, and scalable web experiences.
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in front-end languages, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Experience with WordPress development, customization, and management
- Knowledge of server-side frameworks such as PHP or ASP.NET
- Familiarity with database systems like SQL or Oracle
- Experience with API integrations connecting websites to CRMs, analytics, and other platforms
- Understanding of accessibility standards (ADA, WCAG 2.1, Section 508)
- Experience with analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Tag Manager, and HotJar
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement responsive, accessible websites, landing pages, and digital products following UI/UX best practices
- Write clean, efficient, and testable code using current front-end and back-end technologies
- Translate design files and functional specifications into user-facing features and technical solutions
- Monitor and maintain existing websites for optimal performance, uptime, and security
- Apply updates to CMS platforms, plugins, frameworks, and libraries to ensure stability and security
- Troubleshoot and resolve bugs or user-reported issues promptly
- Manage WordPress and other CMS builds, including customizations and integrations
Other
- Occasional travel, up to 30% annually, is required for our annual summit in Mishawaka, IN, or client engagements, with travel outside the local area and overnight stays possible.
