Crossing Hurdles is looking for a Web Development & Design Expert to help their partners working with leading AI research labs build and train cutting-edge AI models by designing and developing web applications and interfaces.
Requirements
- Proficiency with JavaScript/TypeScript, React/Next.js (or similar), CSS/Tailwind.
- Experience with design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
- Strong understanding of accessibility (WCAG), responsive design, and component-driven development.
- Familiarity with testing frameworks (Playwright, Cypress), analytics, and experimentation.
- Bonus: Experience with headless CMS (Contentful, Sanity), Node.js, Webflow, or motion/interaction design.
Responsibilities
- Design information architecture, user flows, wireframes, and interactive prototypes.
- Build responsive and accessible web apps/sites using modern stacks (React/Next.js, Vue/Nuxt, SvelteKit).
- Integrate APIs and implement component libraries/design systems.
- Establish consistent visual systems (typography, color, spacing) and document components.
- Conduct usability testing, heuristic reviews, and UX research synthesis.
- Optimize for performance, SEO, analytics, and conversions (A/B testing).
- Ensure cross-browser/device compatibility and basic security/privacy hygiene.
