The Archaeology Data Service (ADS) needs to increase its front-end applications development capacity to deliver industry and research projects, specifically focusing on developing and hosting a Heritage Science Data Service (HSDS).
Requirements
- Ability to build engaging and accessible web interfaces
- Proven ability in working with HTML5
- Proven ability in working with JavaScript
- Proven ability in working with CSS
- Proven ability in working with SQL
Responsibilities
- Increase the front-end applications development capacity of the ADS
- Deliver a number of industry and research projects
- Deliver innovative and engaging front-end applications, including but not limited to map-based interfaces, image collections, and reference catalogues
- Take a hands-on development role
- Primarily work on smaller self-contained interfaces
- Work on larger collaborative projects where required
- Be mentored in the ADS DevOps practices
