Randstad Digital is looking for a Java Web Developer I to design, develop, integrate, and maintain application software for a team that supports product databases and store-level operations for over 4,000 stores for a large retail client.
Requirements
- ReactJS, TypeScript, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML for building single-page web applications.
- Java (or Kotlin), J2EE Web development, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and JPA.
- Working with REST APIs, Docker, and/or Kubernetes.
- Experience with relational databases (Oracle preferred), SQL, GIT for source control, and Gradle for automated builds.
- Shell scripting and familiarity with Unix/Linux OS is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Developing and managing web applications, web services, and websites. This includes creating Content Management Systems (CMS), user authentication features, and administrative tools.
- Participating in the complete software development life cycle, from development and integration to implementation and post-implementation support.
- Working on application software that supports the company's merchandise accounting systems and product databases, including store-level replenishment and product quality reporting.
- Building single-page web applications.
- Developing web applications using Java (or Kotlin), J2EE Web development, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and JPA.
- Working with REST APIs, Docker, and/or Kubernetes.
- Experience with relational databases (Oracle preferred), SQL, GIT for source control, and Gradle for automated builds.

- This position is a contract-to-hire role and is hybrid until 2026 and then will be 5x per week on-site in the Downtown Cleveland, OH area.
- This role is not available for sponsorship or able to extend VISAs.
