Global Partnerships Tools (GPT) mission is to empower Global Partnerships to enhance the health of our partnerships and to land better agreements, more efficiently. To bring this mission to life, we build and maintain a portfolio of tools that automate pipeline and partner management workflows and provide reports that drive visibility on state of the business, execution efficiency, insights on potential business opportunity, and ultimately improve decision quality. GPT is on a multi-year journey to make tools an essential part of every Global Partnerships (GP) Googler’s journey, by continuing to enhance our existing tools (with AI where applicable) and launching new ones to meet the needs of our partnerships teams.
Requirements
- Experience with backend languages (e.g. Java, Python, or C++).
- Experience with front end languages (e.g. JavaScript or TypeScript).
- Experience working with database technologies (e.g. SQL, NoSQL).
- 4 years of experience designing and optimizing databases and distributed applications.
- 4 years of experience with cloud, containerized, or microservice architectures.
- 2 years of experience with AI technologies.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and deploy scalable software platforms for teams within global partnership tools, ensuring that all technical solutions are designed in a way which adhere to the best software engineering practices at Google.
- Collaborate with product to enhance tools and create applications using standard and Google-specific software development tools, looking to deploy AI within our tools portfolio wherever possible.
- Write technical documents, including design, development, revision documents and review code in compiled or scripted languages.
- Analyze, review, and modify programs to increase operating efficiency or meet new requirements as well as execute testing, debugging, maintenance and/or program updates.
- Thrive in an agile environment, quickly prototype solutions, and operate with ambiguous requirements.

- The US base salary range for this full-time position is $125,000-$178,000 + bonus + equity + benefits.
