Ferrovial is looking to solve complex infrastructure problems and generate a positive outcome on people's lives by hiring a Field Engineer Intern to support various roles within Webber, a leading construction company specializing in heavy civil, waterworks, energy, and infrastructure management.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Construction Science/Management, or related 4-year degree program
- Moderate to high level of computer skills in MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Outlook
- Manual dexterity sufficient to reach/handle items and work with the fingers
- Ability to communicate in English via verbal and written communications
- Knowledge of BIM technology
- Experience with design build, alternative delivery models, and public private partnership (P3) solutions
- Familiarity with Microsoft Copilot
Responsibilities
- Gain understanding of Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) and Hazard Safety Observations (HSO)
- Know and apply necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PEE) for jobsite activities
- Observe and prevent safety incidents
- Conduct jobsite audits
- Learn how to interpret plans and set layouts
- Understand how to survey for quantities
- Gain knowledge in conversions and accurate surveying practice
