Waymo is looking to accelerate the safe deployment of its autonomous technology by improving the performance of its Fleet Response team, which operates at the leading edge of its autonomous driving operations.
Requirements
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science, similar technical field of study, or equivalent practical experience
- A generalist mindset, willing to learn a breadth of new skills
- Comfortable with C++ and Typescript
- Industry experience with Web Applications
- Familiar with distributed systems
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with other teams to help our self-driving vehicles in ambiguous or complex situations
- Prototype and deploy safe, and reliable solutions to real-world challenges in autonomous driving
- Work with our users, the Fleet Response Operations team
- Work on mission-critical systems and infrastructure to support Waymo's fleet
- Have the opportunity to work on the full length and range of the problem (web apps, distributed systems, and data analysis)
