Gensler Strategy group needs a Web Developer to create, support, and troubleshoot digital solutions including websites, apps, and interactive cloud-based solutions for clients.
Requirements
- Proficient in Typescript (NextJS, React), HTML, CSS and experienced with additional server-side languages (e.g. ASP, PHP, Rust).
- Familiar with browser-based accessibility standards
- High level of proficiency in a version control system, preferably Git and Github
- Agile process and tooling experience, e.g. Scrum, Jira
- SQL and NoSQL database knowledge
- Modern (e.g. Docker, Azure, AWS) and legacy Windows (IIS, SQL Server) platform design and maintenance
Responsibilities
- Define, develop, and maintain applications written in various web development technologies
- Provide technical support for troubleshooting and fixing application issues
- Prepare required documentation for application support
- Maintain an awareness and understanding of technological advances; provide continuous research and assessment of new resources and technology available
Other
- Work closely with stakeholders to determine application requirements, perform analysis to create statement of work and provide time estimates
- 3-7 years of experience in a related position
- Initiative to propose and create appropriate solutions for changing situations
- Willingness to learn new technologies and new ways of approaching projects
- Strong communication, customer service, troubleshooting, organizational skills, and the ability to complete assigned work with minimal instruction and supervision
