Citigroup is looking to implement and strategize the Enterprise and Wholesale Loans Data Governance Strategy, Data Risk and Control Framework, and support Data Domain management and execution.
Requirements
- 5+ years relevant experience in a Data Governance/ Data Management/ Process Engineering / Wholesale Loans or related area
- Advanced understanding of Project Management methodologies and tools
- Optimizes work processes by balancing effective / efficient processes with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Demonstrates ability to balance between seeing the “big picture” while paying close attention to detail.
- Collaborates effectively by building partnerships and working well with others to meet shared objectives.
- Ability to monitor tight deadlines or unexpected requirement changes, with the ability to anticipate and balance needs of multiple stakeholders.
- Ability to communicate effectively to develop and deliver multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences.
Responsibilities
- Partner with multiple teams to implement relevant Data Governance policies and/or Data Risk and Control framework
- Provide expertise on Data Governance and/or Data Risk and Controls framework including design, effectiveness, performance monitoring and self-assessment processes
- Oversight and analysis of data-related issues, tracking of ownership and target dates and associated metrics and reporting
- Support and coordinate with business lines and global functions on enterprise Data Governance strategy roll out and associated changes to key risk indicators and control framework
- Support key Data Transformation projects across the organization
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure timely execution of milestones, provide reporting of potential risks to delivery, and incorporate milestone reporting and changes
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
