Optimize software design for Apple's latest products, including the next generation of Apple Watch, AirPods, iPhone, iPad, and Mac, by devising performance evaluation methodologies on SW/HW prototypes, analyzing logs, and making recommendations for implementing in software based on trade-off analysis at a system & product level.
Requirements
- Strong understanding in one of Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Thread, or related protocols
- Background or research experience in RF, Digital, and Wireless communications
- Experience working with wireless sniffers and protocol analyzers to debug and root cause issues
- Experience with Python for testing, data analysis, and visualization
- Knowledge of TCP/IP protocol suite
- Experience with power, performance trade-off analysis
- Experience with CPU profiling and optimizations
