Apple is looking to build revolutionary networking system software and make a huge impact to the WiFi industry by enhancing and maintaining WiFi networking subsystem software across a range of Apple products.
Requirements
- Strong technical background and hands-on experience in wireless networking, particularly in WiFi protocols (802.11 standards), MAC/PHY layers, and system-level software design
- Proven experience in leading and delivering large-scale software development teams, ideally in embedded-systems and connectivity-related domains
- Proficient understanding of TCP/IP suite of protocols and their intrinsic interaction with WiFi SW stack on end-to-end user experience
- You have the ability to drive technical strategy and execution, balancing product goals, technical complexity, and cross-functional collaboration
- You have excellent analytical and problem solving skills with strong execution through ambiguity and meaningful risk/reward analysis
- You have experience applying AI/ML techniques to deliver better connectivity experience and improve operational efficiency in SW engineering
