RTX Corporation is looking to solve business and technical problems by hiring a Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) Windchill Developer to join their Engineering and Technology Application Services (ETAS) Team.
Requirements
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience as a software developer customizing Windchill products (PDMLink, MPMLink) for enhancements and break fix in Linux environments
- Demonstrated knowledge of Windchill integration development and tools (Windchill REST Services, SOAP) in an Agile/Scrum team implementing methodologies/tools (Jira, Confluence)
- Demonstrated experience in using the following for modification of Windchill: Java, JSP, JavaScript, J2EE, XML, XSD, XSLT
- Knowledge of Cucumber, Selenium, Junit and DevOps Tools (Jenkins, Containers, Github)
- Demonstrated experience and working knowledge of Windchill PDMLink 12.02 or later, Creo Parametric and how it interacts with PDMLink
- Experience with engineering release activities in Windchill PDMLink via Change Notices, Tasks, WTParts, WTDocuments, CAD Documents, Notes, Engineering Bills of Material, and effectivity
- Experienced in Windchill 12.02 or later customizations of ACLs, Lifecycles, Workflows, Info Tasks, Webjects, OIRs, Actions/action-models, Listeners, MVC components, and automated deployments of those changes
Responsibilities
- designing, coding, deploying, testing, and providing technical support and collaboration
- coordinating and executing unit and system-level automated and manual test plans using Cucumber and other auto-testing tools
- developing in Amazon Web Services (AWS) Cloud environments and committing code to Git
- embracing the best practices of DevSecOps using Jenkins and other toolchains
- identifying and communicating opportunities, dependencies, and risks to the Scrum Master and Product Owners
- developing images for air-gapped networks
- supporting team members, submitting work for code review, and striving to deliver the highest business value to the organization
Other
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access the financial management system due to government contractual requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or college with a major in Computer Science, related engineering or science field or Business with relevant professional experience
- Must be a self-motivated team player, ability to dive in and learn rapidly, adapt to change, and work on varying assignments and able to excel in a highly collaborative, fast paced environment with effective oral and written communication skills
