Gallo is looking to enhance its data analytics capabilities within its Winegrowing Data Analytics Internship Program to support corporate initiatives and research projects. The goal is to improve data-driven decision-making by identifying patterns for predictive insights and developing advanced analytical models.
Requirements
- Experience working with data in Python or SQL.
- Experience defining problems, collecting data, establishing facts, and drawing valid conclusions.
- Knowledge or experience working with BI Tools, like Tableau.
- Junior or Senior class standing at a college or university and working towards a Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Data Analytics, Informatics, Marketing Research, Applied/Quantitative Psychology or School of Engineering.
- Currently enrolled at a college or university and working towards OR have obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Data Analytics, Informatics, Marketing Research, Applied/Quantitative Psychology or School of Engineering.
Responsibilities
- Enhance your data analytics abilities by engaging with a diverse project portfolio and collaborating with cross-functional teams such as Viticulture, Chemistry, Enology, Micro and Systems Biology, and Winemaking.
- Play a crucial part in understanding and documenting the inputs and outputs of data to support ongoing development.
- Create dashboards that empower our partners to make informed, data-driven decisions.
- Mine data to identify patterns for predictive insights, modeling both structured and unstructured data.
- Contribute to the development of machine learning and other advanced analytical models.

- Candidate must be available for the entire duration of the internship.
- Strong written, verbal, and analytical skills
- Requires availability to work evenings, weekends and holidays when necessary.
- Required to be 18 years or older.
- Previous experience in natural sciences, fermentation, viticulture, or winemaking.
