PBMares is looking to solve the problem of finding new teammates to join their firm, specifically for their Winter Tax Internship Program, to help build their professional network and gain hands-on experience in tax preparation and accounting.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Exposure to software such as ProSystems FX, Caseware, Box, Practice Engine, and QuickBooks
Responsibilities
- How to prepare individual and business tax returns
- How to set up supporting document workpapers
- Creation of depreciation schedules
- Exposure to software such as ProSystems FX, Caseware, Box, Practice Engine, and QuickBooks
- Business writing, professional networking, and communication skills
Other
- Must be a junior, senior or recent graduate majoring in Accounting at an accredited institution
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work a minimum of 25 hours per week, up to 40 hours per week, with flexibility during Tax Season (January–April 2026)
- A grade point average of 3.0 or higher is strongly preferred
- Must be authorized to work in the United States permanently without the requirements of sponsorship at any point in the future
