The role aims to design, develop, and patent the next generation of cellular and eSIM technologies to seamlessly connect users to their devices and elevate the customer experience.
Requirements
- Prior experience in Cellular/ eSIM/ Telephony/ WiFi technology will be a plus, especially on Apple platforms
- Experience building reliable and robust software systems using secure programming fundamentals.
Responsibilities
- design and implement advanced eSIM, cellular, and telephony features for iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch
- collaborating with Apple’s design studio to create intuitive user interfaces
- oversee the full software lifecycle, from concept to deployment
- work with cellular carriers, security, privacy, hardware, and qualification teams to optimize protocols and user interfaces for eSIM and telephony solutions
- patent these solutions to protect Apple intellectual property

- Masters degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Wireless Communications or equivalent majors
