Techyries is looking for a Writing Intern to create engaging content for their YouTube channel and digital platforms, focusing on tech, gaming, and live streaming news.
Requirements
- Basic news script writing experience with an understanding of news journalism.
- Comfortable with Google Suite (Drive, Docs, Sheets).
- Experience with AP writing style, web writing, and article formatting
- Understanding of video pacing, transitions, and storytelling techniques.
- Familiarity with YouTube and social media content trends, gaming culture, and tech topics.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Knowledge in story research
Responsibilities
- Write scripts for live show or recorded news segments, promotional writing, web writing, and game highlights.
- Producing digital and social media projects as needed.
- Organize and manage story assets to ensure efficient workflow.
- Collaborate with managers in planning sessions and brainstorm creative ideas for content improvement with the team.
- Research for the latest gaming and tech news stories.

- Must speak fluent English and reside within the United States.
- Must be either actively in school or recently graduated.
- Enthusiasm for learning and a proactive attitude.
- Interest in social media and YouTube copywriting.
